Celebrate the Fourth of July at the 2017 Red, White and Blues Festival

Fireworks, food and star-studded entertainment are on tap for Federal Way’s Fourth of July Red, White and Blues Festival. Free and open to the public, the event starts at 4 pm, July 4 at Celebration Park, 1095 South 324th St. and concludes with a spectacular fireworks show that begins at 10:15 pm.

The festival includes live music and fun activities for all ages; including Inflatables, Zorba Ball, We Care Sports, Arts & Crafts, Kids Zone, and face painting. The event will feature an interactive arts and crafts tent where participants can "make-and-take" a variety of festive creations, as well as the Kid’s Parade at 7:15 pm. Fan-favorite food vendors will be on-site to offer a wide variety of meal-time options, festival goodies, and frozen treats. The Kiwanis General Store will satisfy the shopping urges of anyone looking for patriotic or glow-in-the-dark novelties.

Live entertainment and music begins at 4 pm on the Main Stage. World-class entertainer, comedian and juggler, Alex Zerbe alexzerbe.com, is back again by popular demand as Master of Ceremonies. The evening will finish with one of the best fireworks displays in the South Sound! Festival-goers will have a front row seat to the 22-minute choreographed fireworks show put on by Entertainment Fireworks, Inc. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for watching the fireworks. Canopies, pop-up tents, large umbrellas, bbq grills and open-flame fire pits are not permitted. Pets are not allowed on the event grounds – Trained service animals only.

FREE on-site parking will be available at the Celebration Park Main Parking Lot, beginning at 3 pm. *Please note that the parking lot will be closed from dusk ‘til 3 pm for event set-up. Those wishing to access the kid’s playground area or Celebration Park trails are encouraged to park in the South Soccer Field Lots. This glorious event is brought to you by The City of Federal Way’s Parks Department; including the Community Center and Recreation Divisions. The event is proudly sponsored and supported by Waste Management, Red Canoe Credit Union, Federal Way Mirror, Federal Way Arts Commission, and 4Culture.

A "friendly-fourth" reminder that parking is limited on-site, therefore carpooling and walking is encouraged. There is no ATM on-site, therefore cash is encouraged.

NOT PERMITTED: BBQ Grills, campfires, personal fireworks, tents, canopies, large umbrellas or pets. Trained service animals are permitted. Alcohol consumption and smoking of any kind is NOT PERMITTED.

SPECIAL NOTE: There will be NO RE-ENTRY into the event grounds beginning at 9:30 PM.
