Disaster Preparedness Training
The City offers two types of disaster preparedness training. Neighborhood Emergency Teams (NETs) are groups of neighbors who meet to learn personal and neighborhood preparedness. The community EmergencyResponse Team (CERT) program is a series of seven classes held in the Spring and Fall each year. The classes cover topics such as Disaster First Aid, Fire Suppression, and Search and Rescue.
