How is a picnic shelter reserved?
Picnic reservations can be made in person from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at the
Federal Way Community Center
located at 876 South 333rd Street. You can also leave your information on the picnic reservation line at 253.835.6964. Payment can be made over the phone using either Visa or MasterCard or in person by cash, check or credit card. For more information, view our

How do I rent a ball field?
There is a limited amount of time available to rent baseball / softball or soccer fields. Please contact our

Can I reserve a park for a large gathering?
A Special Event Permit is required for any community, special or private event not sponsored by the city that requires other than routine use of any park or outdoor facility. Special Event Permits are available on a first come, first served basis. Please call the Picnic Reservation line at 253.835.6964 or download our

How do I register for a program or a class?
You can register for a program or a class over the phone by calling 253.835.6900. Press 0 for phone registration. You can also register in person at the Federal Way Community Center located at:

What can I do with my children on non-school days?
When there's a no school day, your kids can hang out for the day at the Federal Way Community Center. There will be games, snacks, swimming, rock climbing and crafts. The cost is just $40 for the day. This service is for ages 6-12 years. Bring a swim suit, towel and sack lunch. Sign up at the
